Description :
Katie Winkle, professor of Information Technology at the University of Uppsala, Sweden, visited the Human Factors Psychology Lab on Nov. 15.
She visited our robot lab and participated in a demonstration of Pepper robot's storytelling and interaction.
She also participated in an ongoing research demonstration related to the effect of the non-verbal expression of Soryoo, a master's student in our laboratory, on exercise motivation.
After sharing various research stories, and having lunch together, she visited the human factors psychology lab and had a Q&A session with graduate students.
We're looking forward to sharing a lot of insights with Doctor Winkle about human-robot interaction, social robotics, and robotics!
