Description :
We are proud to announce the launch of a new project aimed at developing a digital well-being index of middle-aged women, with Professor Meejung Chin serving as the principal investigator. The interdisciplinary team comprises experts from various fields, including Psychology, represented by the Human Factors Psychology Lab led by Prof. Sowon Hahn, Child Development and Family Studies with Prof. Meejung Chin, Nursing with Prof. Yeon-hwan Park, and Food and Nutrition with Prof. Young Hye Kwon. Inju Lee, a Ph.D. student at our lab, serves as the project manager for our team and is responsible for the implementation and oversight of empirical experiments.
The project involves
(1) collecting digital phenotype data through smart devices (smartphones and smartbands),
(2) developing an index for monitoring menopausal syndrome and measuring well-aging, and
(3) designing a well-aging mobile application for a health-improving program targeting middle-aged women.
Developing a digital index for monitoring menopausal syndrome and measuring well-aging is a crucial skill in today's diverse and complex society. With the collective expertise of our team, we are optimistic that our digital well-being index project will make a significant contribution to the field and improve the lives of those who experience menopausal syndrome in middle-aged women.
We are thrilled with its potential impact. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting new initiative!
